1. Usage

Full CLI specification (with a dedicated chapter per command, options, privilege rules, and examples) is extracted into docs/NETSetup-Specification.adoc → CLI Command Specification.

NETSetup.exe <command> [--option <value>] [--flag]

  • Binary locations: Windows Choco (NETSetup.exe on PATH), WinPE USB (X:\NETSetup\NETSetup.exe), Proxmox/Linux (/NETSetup/NETSetup), Dev (dotnet run --project src/NETSetup — <command>).

  • Core rules: State-changing verbs require elevation (ExitIfNotElevated); exit code 0 = success, 1 = failure (writes <timestamp>.err); logs in /NETSetup/Logs; customer config resolved automatically by hardware serial via Config/<serial>#<ticket>.map.
